Prayer

Are any of you suffering hardships? You should pray. Are any of you happy? You should sing praises. Are any of you sick? You should call for the elders of the church to come and pray over you, anointing you with oil in the name of the Lord. Such a prayer offered in faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will make you well.
And if you have committed any sins, you will be forgiven. -James 5:13-15

Prayer Requests for the week of July 9

We have a lot of praises to share this week!
  • Ben B made it safely to Ecuador; continue to pray for him, that he may share Jesus with those he meets there.
  • Sue B got to come home from the hospital and is feeling great; pray that she will stay healthy!
  • Don Z's surgery (kidney stones) went very well, and he is recovering.
  • Tina and John M celebrated their wedding Saturday in a wonderful ceremony.

Please pray for the following requests:

  • Homer G: diagnosed with sugar diabetes
  • Gene H: fell out of bed last night: not injured, but had to take a trip to the hospital nonetheless. Continue to pray for Irene, too.
  • Kevin & Stacy L: had twin boys yesterday, extremely early - both will remain in the hospital. One is doing OK, but one has some additional problems.
  • Angie K: took a turn for the worse this week
  • Paul K: critically ill

Thank you for your prayers. Please also keep the U.C.C. and Pastor Dave in your prayers. Today was Mitch's last Sunday there, and though there will be youth interns for the summer, it's still a tough load for Pastor Dave, especially since he's been trying to schedule surgery for some time this summer.
