Prayer

Are any of you suffering hardships? You should pray. Are any of you happy? You should sing praises. Are any of you sick? You should call for the elders of the church to come and pray over you, anointing you with oil in the name of the Lord. Such a prayer offered in faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will make you well.
And if you have committed any sins, you will be forgiven. -James 5:13-15

Prayer Requests for the week of July 16

Three of our members are in Grenada for a 10 day mission trip; please keep Cortney, Janel, and Pat in your prayers!

Also pray for Lester, Dick, and Scott as they participate in leadership for the Emmaus Walk (spiritual retreat) this coming weekend.

Our other requests are as follows:
  • Eric S: in Iraq
  • Juanita C (Lynne A's mother)
  • Gene and Irene H
  • Paul K (having breathing troubles)
  • Case V (Dave B's friend in NJ)
  • Chris W: starting boot camp today
  • Jesse C (Penny C's mother in law): in the hospital

We shared several praise reports:

  • Darren & Julie S have a new baby
  • Jeff & Mel (in-laws of Heather J) with a new baby
  • Joanna S: celebrated her 80th birthday (and it was great having the family at church)
  • Megan O: baptized Sunday (likewise, it was great to have the family there)
