Prayer

Are any of you suffering hardships? You should pray. Are any of you happy? You should sing praises. Are any of you sick? You should call for the elders of the church to come and pray over you, anointing you with oil in the name of the Lord. Such a prayer offered in faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will make you well.
And if you have committed any sins, you will be forgiven. -James 5:13-15

Prayer Requests for the week of July 23

Please keep our missionaries in your prayers: Ben in Ecuador, and Cortney, Janel, and Pat, in Grenada. The Grenada team will be returning home Thursday, so please keep their travel in your prayers.

There were several families who suffered the death of loved ones this week. Please remember the families of Nancy S, Tommy R, Case V (Dave B's friend in NJ), and Ruth H (Jamie N's mother) in your prayers this week.

Here are our prayer requests:

  • Gene and Irene H
  • Juanita C (Lynne A's mother)
  • Scott M
  • Angie K
  • Corey C (new NK band director): injured in an accident

*Please also keep David and Kim M and their brand new baby in your prayers. Sunday night the baby stopped breathing, and although she is now doing well, she's going to have to stay overnight for observation and monitering. Pray for the family, as this is a difficult time.

We also have joys to report:

  • Kevin and Stacy L's baby is up over 2# and is being weaned off the respirator!
  • Troy D had his checkup and is doing wonderfully! He is checking out at 10 month levels (he's 11 months old, but if he had been born on his due date, he'd only be 8 months old).
