Prayer

Are any of you suffering hardships? You should pray. Are any of you happy? You should sing praises. Are any of you sick? You should call for the elders of the church to come and pray over you, anointing you with oil in the name of the Lord. Such a prayer offered in faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will make you well.
And if you have committed any sins, you will be forgiven. -James 5:13-15

June 25 Prayer Requests

Thank you for being a part of our prayer ministry. Did you know that we're establishing a 24-7 prayer ministry at NKUMC? We are hoping to provide a place away from the distractions of home and work where you can focus on your relationship with God and learn to pray more effectively. As the summer progresses, so will the information and the depth of the different prayer stations.

Jesus said, "My house is to be a house of prayer."
Let's take Him seriously and pray.

This week's prayer requests include our young people at Lakeside for church camp and Monica, on an Emmaus spiritual retreat weekend (finishing this evening). Please pray that their lives will be touched for the Lord and that they will be able to carry through on their commitments.

Other requests are as follows:
  • Ned and Linda
  • Gene H: fell Monday and broke his hip - recovering well after surgery (might return to the nursing home today or tomorrow) - Zane, his roommate from the Manor, also fell and broke his hip on Monday, so keep him in your prayers, too.
  • Betty V
  • Don Z
  • Barb S
  • Linda B
  • Scott M
  • Angie K

Thank you for praying for these concerns! May God bless your week!
