Prayer

Are any of you suffering hardships? You should pray. Are any of you happy? You should sing praises. Are any of you sick? You should call for the elders of the church to come and pray over you, anointing you with oil in the name of the Lord. Such a prayer offered in faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will make you well.
And if you have committed any sins, you will be forgiven. -James 5:13-15

Please include the family of Jason W (including Alice W, the pastor at Anna UMC) in your prayers - Jason passed away recently.

Also, keep Nathan and Zachary in your prayers - both in Iraq. They are the brothers of Ben, Rachel B's fiancee.

We celebrated with the following praise reports:
  • Joanna S has a new grandson (named Jesse)
  • Jacob N is turning 19 and leaving for college (pray for all our college students and especially the parents of the incoming freshmen)
  • Ashley A & Jay H were married this week
  • Dwain & Brenda celebrated their 29th anniversary
