Prayer

Are any of you suffering hardships? You should pray. Are any of you happy? You should sing praises. Are any of you sick? You should call for the elders of the church to come and pray over you, anointing you with oil in the name of the Lord. Such a prayer offered in faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will make you well.
And if you have committed any sins, you will be forgiven. -James 5:13-15

May 27 Prayer Requests

Happy Memorial Day! I hope you took time this weekend to think about the sacrifices that were made for the freedom we enjoy today and to thank a service person for doing their part toward those freedoms.

Anyway, on to our prayer requests:

  • Shirley B came through her surgery well and is pain-free.
  • Lisa N's dad, John P, had to be hospitalized Saturday
  • Karen M's dad, Ruben, having heart surgery

  • Karen K has one more week wearing the collar & on medication
  • Ralph & Barb S celebrated their 60th anniversary this weekend! They also celebrated Sean S's engagement and asked for continued prayers for Eric.
  • We also celebrate with Ben and Lindsey B, who were married last weekend.
  • Homer asked for continued prayers for his sugar and reported that his mother-in-law, Lois P, has completed radiation treatment
