Prayer

Are any of you suffering hardships? You should pray. Are any of you happy? You should sing praises. Are any of you sick? You should call for the elders of the church to come and pray over you, anointing you with oil in the name of the Lord. Such a prayer offered in faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will make you well.
And if you have committed any sins, you will be forgiven. -James 5:13-15

June 4 Prayer Requests

Can you believe it's June already? It is Vacation Bible School time, so please keep Mindy and all of the teachers and assistants in your prayers as they minister to over 200 children!! Pray for the children as well, that they may learn more about Jesus Christ and that He would continue to draw them into relationship with Him.

Our requests this week are as follows:

  • Lynne A's mom, Juanita C: heart troubles
  • Scott M.
  • Linda B.
  • Margaret B.
  • Beth K's son is out of the army and he (and his family) will be moving in with Beth. Pray for that situation and for jobs.

  • Barb S: was hospitalized for blood sugar problems
  • Dan & Dort B family
  • Angie K
  • Marie H
  • June
  • Eugene H (and Irene)
  • Marsha M: cancer
  • Bill L's friend Roger: cancer spreading
  • Edison K: back home from hospital
  • Minster seniors in Panama City

Praise God for answered prayers as well, including Sue N's sister, who does not have to undergo chemotherapy or radiation!
