Prayer

Are any of you suffering hardships? You should pray. Are any of you happy? You should sing praises. Are any of you sick? You should call for the elders of the church to come and pray over you, anointing you with oil in the name of the Lord. Such a prayer offered in faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will make you well.
And if you have committed any sins, you will be forgiven. -James 5:13-15

April 27 Prayer Requests

Thanks to Pat for compiling these while we were on vacation. Thanks for the prayers; we had safe and fun travel! Anyway, without further ado, here are some prayer requests for this week:

5 Janean O: Knee surgery went well

10. Austin H, teenager with stage 3 cancer

12. Safety for all the kids with proms coming up.
13. mission trip this week in Tennesee.

These were not lifted up Sunday but were e-mailed to me:
  • Edward C: the father of a close friend of Leann W: colon cancer that has returned and possibly spread to intestines and liver.
  • Jessica and baby Angel Marie (the granddaughter and great granddaughter of one of Monica's former residents at LP): baby Angel wasn't supposed to live, but began breathing on her own, and is now in Columbus at Children's Hospital in critical condition.
  • Caitlin N: dealing with headaches
  • Caitlin N's grandmother, Betty N.
  • Juanita from LP.
  • Angela, a 32 year old rehabbing from serious heart problems
