Prayer

Are any of you suffering hardships? You should pray. Are any of you happy? You should sing praises. Are any of you sick? You should call for the elders of the church to come and pray over you, anointing you with oil in the name of the Lord. Such a prayer offered in faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will make you well.
And if you have committed any sins, you will be forgiven. -James 5:13-15

February 10 Prayer Requests

Here are our prayer requests for this week:

  • Walter S: pneumonia
  • Helen: home from the hospital, awaiting her return for kidney surgery
  • Shirley B: home from Cleveland with test results; must make decision for what's next
  • Betty & Gene O: (if all goes as planned) will return home on Friday
  • Heather J: on mission trip to Guatemala
  • Britany (Homer G's granddaughter) double pneumonia
  • Gerry M's sister Imogene and her husband both hospitalized (she had surgery, and he fell at the nursing home)
  • Caitlin N: headaches - hopefully the treatment she has been receiving will work
  • Betty N (Caitlin's grandmother): cancer
  • Shiela and Ashley E (Monica N's co-worker and daughter): Shiela has MS and Ashley has an illness that has gone on for weeks
