Prayer

Are any of you suffering hardships? You should pray. Are any of you happy? You should sing praises. Are any of you sick? You should call for the elders of the church to come and pray over you, anointing you with oil in the name of the Lord. Such a prayer offered in faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will make you well.
And if you have committed any sins, you will be forgiven. -James 5:13-15

April 15 Prayer Requests

Thank you for your prayers! The Bible tells us to pray without ceasing, so here are some prayer requests for this week:

  • Lois P (Homer's mother-in-law)

  • Eric S.
  • Monica N's boss, Deb, and her daughter Kristen (Kristen's baby died shortly after childbirth)
  • Dennis C.
  • Dick S: back in the hospital with possibly more cancer

There have been several families who have lost loved ones recently. Please keep the following in your prayers:

  • Jackie P and her family in the death of her father, Ray D.
  • The family of Kurt K
  • The family and friends of Margaret B (Mary Alice S's close friend)

Please keep Nancy F in your prayers as she travels with a bunch of 8th graders this week!

We also thank you for your prayers for Mindy this weekend as she spent another weekend in prison for Epiphany prison ministry.
