Prayer

Are any of you suffering hardships? You should pray. Are any of you happy? You should sing praises. Are any of you sick? You should call for the elders of the church to come and pray over you, anointing you with oil in the name of the Lord. Such a prayer offered in faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will make you well.
And if you have committed any sins, you will be forgiven. -James 5:13-15

March 11 Prayer Requests

Thanks for all your prayers - it's wonderful to hear the answers to prayers as well. Sue N shared with me a wonderful continuing answer to prayer for Madeline, who is now home and doing a fantastic job of recovering. God is good!

Please pray with us for the following:
  • Ray D (Jackie P's father): hospitalized
  • The family of Sarah M (Don & Jackie P's neighbor)
  • Eric S.
  • Homer G
  • Audrey W: may have to have further surgery
  • Walter S.
  • Peggy (Kristin H's mother): going in for tests on her lungs Friday
  • Ben S
  • Angie K
  • Sandy @ Luther Pines - in ICU
  • Dick S: came through surgery and now will undergo chemo
  • Denise C: also came through surgery and will also undergo surgery

Please pray for Mindy S as she participates in another Epiphany retreat (prison ministry) in Marion this coming weekend. Pray for the boys as well as for the team, and pray for Mindy as she travels back and forth (and to Columbus and back as well).

We celebrate with our town's basketball teams for their achievements, and we continue to pray for their safety on and off the court as well as for the kids themselves - that they will bring glory to God through their play and their conduct (on and off the court). Go Rangers!
