Prayer

Are any of you suffering hardships? You should pray. Are any of you happy? You should sing praises. Are any of you sick? You should call for the elders of the church to come and pray over you, anointing you with oil in the name of the Lord. Such a prayer offered in faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will make you well.
And if you have committed any sins, you will be forgiven. -James 5:13-15

February 4 Prayer Requests

I almost lost my paper with all the requests on it, as, on the way home, a wind blew all my papers out of my hand... I had to go chasing the half-sheet with all the prayer requests on it half a block down the street! But I caught it, so here we go!
  • We had the joy of baptizing Johanna H. in our service and accepting her mother, Kristin, into membership! It was also nice having their family with us for service.
  • We also celebrate that Helen S had successful cataract surgery this week, and we pray for her complete recovery.

Please keep the following requests in your prayers as well.

  • Angie K: cancer
  • Ray D (Jackie P's father)
  • Don P (FYI: this is not the Don P in our congregation): brain tumor
  • Homer G: sugar diabetes
  • Ben W: recovering from injuries sustained in a car accident
  • June R.
  • Mark H.
  • Ann H (Rex K's mother-in-law): having bypass surgery Tuesday
  • Paul K.
  • Mary H: recovering from surgery
  • Eric S.
  • Deb K's arm (it was good to see her back, but she's still got quite a recovery in front of her)
  • Case & Alma V.

Please remember to keep all of our service men and women in your prayers.
