Prayer

Are any of you suffering hardships? You should pray. Are any of you happy? You should sing praises. Are any of you sick? You should call for the elders of the church to come and pray over you, anointing you with oil in the name of the Lord. Such a prayer offered in faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will make you well.
And if you have committed any sins, you will be forgiven. -James 5:13-15

December 17 Prayer Requests

Here is our prayer list for the week:
  • Baby X'Zaevion
  • Pat B's father (Lawrence): hospitalized with severe bladder infection - also pray for his wife as she deals with Lawrence's declining health and Parkinsons.
  • Pastor Brian's friend Bill B, who has an (badly needed) job interview
  • Homer G: sugar is up (so are his medications)
  • Virgil W.
  • Case & Alma V
  • Virgil G.
  • Kylie's uncle Randy
  • Angie K.
  • June R: counts back up; back on radiation
  • Paul & Madeline H (Rick H's brother-in-law and neice): still recovering from their car wreck
  • Eric S.
  • Mark H.
  • Betty H.
  • Cortney C: tests Tuesday
  • Also pray for the family of Delores G.

During this Christmas time, please continue to pray for those who are unable to be with loved ones. Christmas can be such a joyous time, but it can also be lonely.

Pray also for our services - that they will glorify God, uplift the believers, and serve to introduce God to those who don't yet know Him.
