Prayer

Are any of you suffering hardships? You should pray. Are any of you happy? You should sing praises. Are any of you sick? You should call for the elders of the church to come and pray over you, anointing you with oil in the name of the Lord. Such a prayer offered in faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will make you well.
And if you have committed any sins, you will be forgiven. -James 5:13-15

Midweek Updates

Thank you for your continued prayers.

Please add the following to your prayer list:
Paul, Natalie, and Madeline (these are the brother-in-law and neices of Rick H, the missionary we support, and who preached here in September) were in a bad accident Monday morning. Paul has a broken neck, and Madeline is in stable condition after a real scare. Natalie was apparently not physically injured, but pray for her and the rest of the family. You might remember that Rick's father died recently, so this is definitely difficult for the family.

There are a couple of residents of Luther Pines who need our special prayers. Joan fell and fractured her wrist and hip and is hospitalized following surgery. Betty (on this week's prayer list) has a broken wrist and broken ribs and is going through a rough spot emotionally as well and needs prayers for guidance as she makes life decisions.

Please continue to pray for Angie K and her family as well as the rest of our list for this week, including Lisa's great nephew baby X'Zaevion.
