Prayer

Are any of you suffering hardships? You should pray. Are any of you happy? You should sing praises. Are any of you sick? You should call for the elders of the church to come and pray over you, anointing you with oil in the name of the Lord. Such a prayer offered in faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will make you well.
And if you have committed any sins, you will be forgiven. -James 5:13-15

October 22 Prayer Requests

Thanks for your commitment to prayer. Remember as you pray to ask the Holy Spirit to speak to you, then take some time to listen to the Lord. Please remember to pray for those who don't yet know the Lord - and if the Lord puts someone on your heart, to share the Good News with them.

Also this week, please pray for Don and Mary Jo Z, as this Saturday, they will be leaving for their winter home in Florida. They have both had a rough year physically, so please keep them in your prayers as they head South, and continue to pray for them even as they are physically absent from us.

Our requests for this week are as follows:
  • Carol & Emerson K.
  • David F.
  • Kylie H's uncle Randy
  • Virgil G.
  • Alayna M.
  • Michael S.
  • Eric S.
  • Scott M.
  • Homer G.
  • Melissa D.
  • Angie K.
  • Betty @ Luther Pines
  • Elden H.
  • Briana J.
  • Case V. and his wife Elma
  • June R.
  • Jackie P's dad, Ray D.

We also celebrated several joys (including Gene & Betty's 64th wedding anniversary this week and Janel B's 18th birthday) and answers to prayer (Leann W's aunt doing remarkably better). Keep on praying!
