Prayer

Are any of you suffering hardships? You should pray. Are any of you happy? You should sing praises. Are any of you sick? You should call for the elders of the church to come and pray over you, anointing you with oil in the name of the Lord. Such a prayer offered in faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will make you well.
And if you have committed any sins, you will be forgiven. -James 5:13-15

October 1 Prayer Requests

Thanks for your continued commitment to prayer! Please pray for our 40-Day discipleship experiment starting next week; we will be meeting in discipleship groups on Wednesday nights and daily devotions as well. Pray that this will help us become Kingdom people and to develop the heart of Christ within us.

Our other prayers for the week include:

  • Eric Stroh: in Iraq
  • Michael S.
  • Scott M.
  • Homer G's sugar
  • June (Mike's sister) starts radiation this week
  • Irene H: cataract surgery this week
  • Kylie's uncle Randy
