Prayer

Are any of you suffering hardships? You should pray. Are any of you happy? You should sing praises. Are any of you sick? You should call for the elders of the church to come and pray over you, anointing you with oil in the name of the Lord. Such a prayer offered in faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will make you well.
And if you have committed any sins, you will be forgiven. -James 5:13-15

September 17 Prayer Requests

Thanks for all your prayers! Sam K is home after his knee surgery, and Milo is recovering from his heart surgery and will come home shortly. Also, June (Mike's sister) had successful cancer surgery Friday and the doctors are pretty confident that they got all the cancer!

We still have a lot of requests to pray for:
  • Homer G's blood sugar
  • Marvin & Shirley F (she had a seizure)
  • Chris W (basic training)
  • Eric S
  • Angie K
  • Andy B
  • Jerry W's nephew Ryan G: broken collarbone
  • Mark S: awaiting heart transplant
  • Case V: awaiting kidney transplant
  • Kendalyn N: recovering from dog bite
  • Mary Alice S: returning from California

Please pray for the following who recently lost loved ones:

  • Hazel (a friend of Gene & Irene from Wapak Manor)
  • Harold Dorsett (from Luther Pines)
  • Brandon Mason

Also keep Mindy in your prayers these next two weekends as she ministers in prison.
