Prayer

Are any of you suffering hardships? You should pray. Are any of you happy? You should sing praises. Are any of you sick? You should call for the elders of the church to come and pray over you, anointing you with oil in the name of the Lord. Such a prayer offered in faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will make you well.
And if you have committed any sins, you will be forgiven. -James 5:13-15

September 10 Prayer Requests

As we recognize the 5th anniversary of the September 11 attacks, please keep our country in your prayers. Please pray for our president and leaders, that they will make wise and Godly decisions.

It was a joyful moment this morning when Irene H read the words on the banner: Give Thanks With a Grateful Heart, as she could see the banner for the first time in a long time!

Please pray for the following requests:
  • Mary Jo Z: had some complications from her surgery
  • Jack H: bladder cancer
  • Homer G: high blood sugar
  • June (Mike's sister): cancer (surgery Friday)
  • Sam K: knee replacement Monday
  • David K (Milo's brother)
  • Ned & Linda N
  • Angie K: cancer
  • Jeff D.
  • Kendalyn N: badly bitten in the face by a dog
  • Cortney C: recovering from strep & flu
  • Chris W: basic training
  • Those who are travelling this week: Mary Alice, Amanda A, and Tara, Jonathan, and Andrew.
