Prayer

Are any of you suffering hardships? You should pray. Are any of you happy? You should sing praises. Are any of you sick? You should call for the elders of the church to come and pray over you, anointing you with oil in the name of the Lord. Such a prayer offered in faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will make you well.
And if you have committed any sins, you will be forgiven. -James 5:13-15

Prayer Requests for the week of March 12

Homer brought up a great prayer request at the Lenten Service Wednesday night: his request was for revival. He's right; we need a revival of Scriptural holiness, to use John Wesley's words.

Especially during Lent, pray that this revival would start with you.

Here are our prayer requests:
  • Please pray for Sandy B and the Lammers family in the death of Lola (Sandy's mother). Pray for them during the viewing Friday and funeral Saturday.
  • Ilo B.
  • Joanna K
  • Gene & Irene H
  • Dorothy K
  • Case V (Dave B's friend in New Jersey)
  • Merlin H
  • Charlene W
  • Dozier family
  • Angie K.
  • Teresa & Adam - Adam is going to Afghanistan
  • Ned & Linda N: after some improvement, Linda has just been stable for a while - will be going to the neurologist at Ohio State shortly - probably will get medications changed again.
  • Tara V: improving & recovering. She got a new brace and got to get rid of the crutches this week!
  • Pat B's dad Lawrence: still in hospital
  • Carol & Emerson K
  • Chris F
  • Scott M
  • Sally D
  • Margaret B
  • Cecile G
  • John M: cancer returned
  • Delores G
  • Josh O: Amy's husband, was hospitalized suddenly
