Prayer

Are any of you suffering hardships? You should pray. Are any of you happy? You should sing praises. Are any of you sick? You should call for the elders of the church to come and pray over you, anointing you with oil in the name of the Lord. Such a prayer offered in faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will make you well.
And if you have committed any sins, you will be forgiven. -James 5:13-15

Prayer Updates

I stopped by the hospital today, and I have some updates.
  • Lois S is doing really well and is supposed to be going home tomorrow! She looked good and sounded great. She will need continued prayers as she regains mobility.
  • Ralph K is doing fairly. He had a lot of damage from the stroke, but he's working hard to recover, and he is pretty upbeat. He was working with the speech therapist when I stopped by, and he still doesn't have much movement at all in his right side, so he can still use a lot of prayer.
  • Dorothy K is being scheduled for surgery on her colon, so please pray for her.
  • Edson K is having a rough time after his fall and broken hip. Please keep him in your prayers.

Also, please pray for Sarah. She's had health problems (Cushings Syndrome) in the past and she's not been feeling well lately.

Thanks for your diligent prayers! We know that prayer is powerful and that our God listens to every one of our prayers!
