Prayer

Are any of you suffering hardships? You should pray. Are any of you happy? You should sing praises. Are any of you sick? You should call for the elders of the church to come and pray over you, anointing you with oil in the name of the Lord. Such a prayer offered in faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will make you well.
And if you have committed any sins, you will be forgiven. -James 5:13-15

December 4 Prayer Requests

First, let's start with praise reports!
  • Andy B. gets to start back to school part time this week! Please keep him in your prayers as it could be pretty tough for him.
  • We get to welcome our new members, Jeff and Chris F, who joined our church this week!
  • Bill & Ambie are expecting their second child!

Please remember the following concerns in your prayers this week:

  • Ralph K: had a stroke and isn't doing well (has little use of his right arm and leg and has difficulty communicating)
  • Lynne A: flu
  • Sally D.
  • Bob N.
  • Marge S.
  • Rita M.
  • Linda and Ned N.
  • Matt, Gretchen, and Troy D.
  • Don Patch: bad cold
  • Jonathan V's eye (has an appointment Tuesday)
  • Tara V's rheumatoid arthritis (has appointment Tuesday)

Please also remember our service personnel (and their families) during the Christmas time, and don't forget those who are in nursing homes or who are otherwise shut-in.
