Prayer

Are any of you suffering hardships? You should pray. Are any of you happy? You should sing praises. Are any of you sick? You should call for the elders of the church to come and pray over you, anointing you with oil in the name of the Lord. Such a prayer offered in faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will make you well.
And if you have committed any sins, you will be forgiven. -James 5:13-15

A couple more requests for this week

Please pray for the following requests:
  • Little Elijah (who was born recently, one of triplets): he isn't doing very well, and they are afraid he has an infection.
  • Ella S, a newborn who is having open heart surgery today.

Also, I neglected to include one of our weekend requests:

  • Please pray for Heth C, a retired pastor who is very involved in the local Emmaus community, who possibly has cancer

Thanks for all of your prayers. Continue to pray for our church and our witness for Christ in the community and in the world!
