Prayer

Are any of you suffering hardships? You should pray. Are any of you happy? You should sing praises. Are any of you sick? You should call for the elders of the church to come and pray over you, anointing you with oil in the name of the Lord. Such a prayer offered in faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will make you well.
And if you have committed any sins, you will be forgiven. -James 5:13-15

November 6 Prayer Requests

What a great service we had! We got to experience the breadth of the Christian experience, including baptism, Communion, and the celebration of the saints who have gone on before us.

We have many things to be thankful for, (including Mitch A's healthy sense of humor as he praised God for a houseful of college kids who blessed the family by getting rid of all those pesky extra groceries!).
Praise God for:
  • Mindy's birthday (and beautiful solo!)
  • Troy D is doing really well, and is up to 7 lb. 14 oz.
  • Brian K, who was sworn in as a lawyer on Thursday
  • Scott S's parents, who celebrated their 50th anniversary

We still have a lot of requests. Thank you for faithfully interceding on behalf of:

  • Sally D.
  • Scott M.
  • Sue A.
  • Don P.
  • Rachel B (broken arm)
  • Jackie P's dad's wife Dorothy D, with breast cancer
  • Phillip P, who was in a car accident (wasn't injured, thankfully!)
  • Linda N.
  • Gene and Irene H.
  • the families of the 4 young men who died in the car accident this past week near Dayton
  • the victims of the tornado in Evansville, IN
  • Tanner Romania mission
