Prayer

Are any of you suffering hardships? You should pray. Are any of you happy? You should sing praises. Are any of you sick? You should call for the elders of the church to come and pray over you, anointing you with oil in the name of the Lord. Such a prayer offered in faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will make you well.
And if you have committed any sins, you will be forgiven. -James 5:13-15

October 15 Prayer Requests

First of all, thanks for the prayers and support you gave me as I prepared for and ran the Columbus Marathon. It was hard, but I finished!

Thanks especially to Pat and Mindy who led the service and preached in my absence! You are awesome!

Here are our joys and concerns for the week:
  • Michael S.
  • Scott M.
  • June R.
  • Marge W.
  • Leanne W's Aunt Jane
  • Matt Dwenger and his family
  • Case V.
  • Celia S.
  • Milo K. (Joy to have him back in Church)
  • Prayers for our military troops especially Eric S. and Chris W.
  • It was a joy to hear about our Mission Team's recent trip from Shirley B.
